Platform for Cross-Border Collaboration
about us
About Mazatlán Forum

The Mazatlán Forum exists to encourage cross-cultural dialogue and innovative, thoughtful deliberation about issues that are relevant to the United States, México, and society more broadly. We seek to address the overlooked questions by taking a close look at the social, political, and economic assumptions at work in our cultures. In making the conversations intercultural, interdisciplinary and intergenerational, we hope to reframe the issues to kindle new thinking, generate new solutions, foster Mexican and US friendships, and promote cross-border collaboration.

The inaugural Mazatlán Forum was a collaborative initiative by Agnieszka Winkler (founder and chairperson of The Winkler Group, Inc. and Fellow of the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology), El Colegio de Sinaloa and the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology (DSPT), who co-organized the inaugural Mazatlán Forum held on March 7 -9, 2013. The second Mazatlán Forum is being co-organized by Agnieszka Winkler, El Colegio de Mazatlán, and Santa Clara University. It will take place March 27-29, 2014
