The Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality (CPI), one of three National Poverty Centers, is a nonpartisan research center dedicated to monitoring trends in poverty and inequality, explaining what’s driving those trends, and developing science-based policy on poverty and inequality. CPI supports research by new and established scholars, trains the next generation of scholars and policy analysts, and disseminates the very best research on poverty and inequality.

The Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology (DSPT) in Berkeley, CA, is a community of scholars committed to every genuine human question and to the truth wherever it may be found. Philosophy and theology are studied for their own sake, with the recognition of the integrity of each discipline as well as the significant relationship between them. The College of Fellows of the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology was founded to enhance education and study in the philosophical and theological disciplines through analyzing contemporary culture, illumining areas of enquiry and discerning questions relevant to contemporary society.
